Biography
Wanling Chang is an animator. In her past work, she mainly did 2d animation but also did 3d animation. She would like to try different techniques to create animation, and love to explore the inner feelings of human. She is interested in exploring some stories in our life and tell them to audiences.
Director statement
Missing is a short 2d animation film, I use TVPaint, Photoshop, After Effect and Premiere to create this animation. The story is following the emotion change of a man who try to find out his dog that already missing. From the man denied the dog loss, to anger, depression to bargaining and finally acceptance.We are constantly losing the people or things the we love in our life, when we loss somethings that we love, we need to struggle with grief and accept the truth of lose, so I come up a story like that and try to explore the inner emotion of people.
